Eu i-am dat lui Ivo adresa site-ului, eu corespondam mai demult cu el, mi-a mai trmis ceva poze, e si el un "nebun" ceh, cica a vanat probabil o gramada de timp sa fotografieze un troleibuz rar la ei acolo, defect, care nu stiu din ce motive, a fost scos din garaj, pe urma au facut aia ceva manevre in garaj, dupa care l-au bagat la loc...

I understand your discussion on my person only partially but :
I am just person who likes trolleybuses and other public transportation all: at all, loves digtial photographing and also Romania - one of  a few remaining not spoiled parts of Europe (think of common people, not these ones who think a foreigner necessary have to be a milker cow!). When you combine these three interests you have to understand I end up as a member of this forum ;)

Radu b.: Colors of Plzeň trolleybuses - These werw two main color schemes of 14Tr type in Plzeň. Old ones were in standard red-cream combination (common scheme used in most of czech systems so it is very similar to Brno one - thats livrery you can see at 611 (i didnt see 612 in service so I dont know how it looks)) but since end of 1980s they started to use "city colors" (as you can see at 610). Now all their machines have that green-white-black livrery (if dont carry a full-car commercial).

But I check out another interesting info. There were 4 !!! machines bought from Plzeň to Iasi /Original Nrs. in Plzeň were 394 = 610; 398 = 611; 397= 612 and t-bus 399 which was was originally set away the service in 1997. I think it served as a source for spare parts/. Can you onfirm my thoughts?

And a question on ex-Brno machines ... you wrote that 608 became later 605 (and original 605 was junked) but for hell why current 603 looks so strange? It has an accident and frontal glass was substitued with own construction (603 didnt look as any other 14Tr ever seen by me or my friends !)?

radu sa sti ca si in cluj e un astfel de autobuz taiat dar e folosit pentru depanare. autobuzului i sa taiat pur si simplu burduful si parteea din spate ramanand cu ceva tabla sudatain spate si un grig mare pt remorcare de autobuze si troleibuze. inca nu am poza cu el dar o sa incerc sa fac una.  in el vezi cauciucuri si ulei in bidoane :)

Toate (cred) troleibuzele DEPANARE au remorca taiata. In Cluj, roovidiu, exista un troleibuz depanare cu nr. 016 fost articulat 143. Il gasesti in Piata M. Viteazu (chiar linga piata! unde exista o statie de transformare RATUC, aici fiind garate si autoturnurile.
Roovidiu, mi-ai trimis CD-ul? Daca nu, trimite pozele via e-mail ca sa le pun pe www.troll1.3x.ro

Nu toate troleibuzele DEPANARE sunt foste troleibuze lungi (117/217) carora li s-a taiat remorca!!!
In Constanta, troleibuzul DEPANARE, RATC 406, era un troleibuz scurt din constructie (112), singurul pe care-l avea RATC cand eram eu in Constanta, d-aia eram cu ochii saiba dupa el...
Din ce-am vorbit acum, ultima oara cand am fost in Constanta, cu un vatman, se pare ca erau 2 astfel de troleibuze 405 & 406, insa eu nu stiu de acel 405!
Si culmea, se pare ca acest 406 ar fi inca in depourile RATC, impreuna cu o parte a troleibuzelor "reci" care n-au fost inca vandute sau casate!

Hi Ivo! I'm from Oradea and if I understaood correctly you're from Brno. In 2001-2003 I was driver on a light tuck and I was several times to Koprivnice to the Doprava TATRA. I delivered Tatra truck spare parts for a dealer in Pitesti. Once O made some pics with trams. Excuse me for the sax quality but I had no digital camera. To Ivo: yes, 603 had an accident - it collided with 508 :) . 508 didnít suffer any substantial damage, but 603 remained without the frontal window, which they replaced with what they found in the garage. Reusing junk is a common practice at RATP (e.g. the back of 509 or the first right window of 407).

Regarding Skoda, thereís indeed a 13th vehicle used for spare parts. For example they replaced the second half of the first door of 601 with one from that vehicle.

Acum cireasa amara de pe tort...

Desi planul de transport adoptat anul trecut prevede existenta a 2 linii de troleibuz, primarul Nichita a propus Comisiei de Circulatie eliminarea troleibuzelor de pe strazile Iasului si ieri propunerea a fost aprobata. Asa ca, dupa sosirea noilor autobuze, adios troleibuze in Iasi :( :( :(. O alta idee este realizarea unei noi autogari pentru transportul interurban, nastrusnica fiind ideea de amplasare in depoul de tramvaie al sectiei 3 de la Gara, activitatea acestuia urmand a se restrange prin mutarea anumitor activitati in depoul din Dacia (sectia 2). La protestele directorului RATP, replica a fost ca terenul e al primariei si poate protesta cat doreste.

Ce meserie are acest (... loc pt. injuraturi) primar Nichita?

nu poate fi vorba despre eliminarea troleibuzelor. un municipiu ca iasiul sa nu aiba troleibuze... e inadmisibil. de ce ? de ce ? sunt asa frumoase. trebuie sa protestam cum prin scrisori la primarie daca sunteti de acord scrieti adresa pe forum si sa ne hotaram sa scriem e vital. SALVATI TROLEIBUZELE IASULUI.

Vestile proaste au aparut astazi in presa locala (http://www.flacaraiasi.ro/adm3.php). Propunerea a fost aprobata de Comisia de Circulatie din cadrul Primariei Iasi (www.primaria-iasi.ro). In conditiile date, propunerea mea ar fi urmatoarea (avand in vedere ca simplul meu protest ar fi pur si simplu ignorat): un protest comun al nostru, semnat de fiecare in parte, la care voi incerca sa mai adaug si alte persoane care vor fi afectate de aceasta decizie.

Una dintre justificarile invocate ar fi ca troleele circula goale, lucru fals, avand in vedere faptul ca daca se ia numai traseul 41, la orice moment al zilei circula aglomerat spre foarte aglomerat. Sa nu mai vorbim de sumele imense care au fost cheltuite pt. constructia retelei. Ar mai fi multe de spus, insa ma rezum deocamdata la atat.

Legat de pregatirea profesionala a domnului Nichita: inginer in domeniul apelor, fost director al RAJAC Iasi (Regia Autonoma Judeteana de Apa-Canal). Inainte de plecarea lui Simirad ca ambasador in Cuba, a fost numit viceprimar, dupa care a devenit primar interimar, functie in care a stat cca. 6 luni, pana la alegeri. Este primar ales al Municipiului Iasi.

Iata ce declara domnul Nichita in luna iulie 2004:

"Troleibuzele vor ramine, sint vehicule ecologice si trebuie folosite. Vom aduce altele noi, mai economice, mai confortabile si mai rapide. Exista o comisie specializata a Primariei care gindeste intregul plan de transport local. Aceasta va stabili si necesarul de troleibuze"

Am pus un anunt si pe forumul cotidianului local Ziua de Iasi (www.ziuaiasi.ro), sa vedem ce zice lumea.

602 was repainted and got the 2nd half of the middle door from that 13th vehicle we mentioned in the previous postings (so the first half of the middle door has a larger window and the 2nd half a smaller one - it looks a little bit weird, but because of the repainting, it looks better than 601, which has the same combination at the first door). The colours are the same: red (but dark-red) with beige. I'm looking forward to seeing all of them repainted, because it's high time :). I'll be sorry for 610, because the actual combination of colours looks great.

Salutare.

In primul rand tin sa felicit pe cei care au fost cu ideea realizarii acestui forum, fiind unic (cred) in Romania avand in vedere tematica sa. Pot spune ca mi-au placut de mic aceste balene care se tarasc pe strazile noastre. Chiar daca d.p.d.v. al aspectului si al functionari o parte din ele si-au iesit din termen demult ele inca sunt o modalitate de transport utila. Personal prefer o calatorie cu troleibuzul decat cu un inghesuit de maxi-taxi.

Radub: thanks for good news ;) But with the situation I think RATP should look around for more wrecks of 14Trs for spare parts to keep these current ones in service (there is several old vehicles in most of czech systems for sale). 14Tr's manufacturer - Škoda Ostrov - is closed since July 2004 and wont be reopened again ! In CZ there is problem to get spare parts even for relatively new 21Trs (manufactured in 1997-2004) !

In Iasi nu mai sint chiar atit de multe balene. Ba mai mult, troleibuzele scurtate la Iasi sint bijuterii tehnice si abia astept sa le vad. Poate punem mina si pe vreun proiect.

Skoda Karosa au fost sigur in Constanta, imi placea mult schema lor de vopsire, inclusiv acel dreptunghi negru de sub cabina soferului unde erau initialele ITC, cu numerele de telefon de contact...
Se pare ca au mai fost si pe la Brasov... oare mai are cineva poze cu ele asa cum au circulat in Romania...

Silviu: da, era plin orasul cu asa ceva inainte de '85 cand au scos din circulatie autobuzele. Dupa '89 au reusit sa refaca unul singur care a circulat pe traseul 28 pana au adus Saviemurile SC10U din Paris. Atunci au fost casate IK4 si acea Skoda.

Am uitat sa spun o parere personala: imi placeau la nebunie usile lor si felul cum se pliau (ca la ITB V3A). Imi placea mai ales usa din fata, formata din 3 bucati :).
